Its not always nessasary to fill and paint stone chips but if you want a perfect finish its the only solution. The clear coat I applyed should offer more protection from those stone chips in the future.

The rear bumper above has been damaged on both corners one side has a small hole, and as you can see from the picture, the other has some nasty cracks, holes and splits. I held all the cracked parts together with some plastic ‘tack welds’ and then fiberglassed the inside. The bumper was then filled and painted and a semi matt elastified clear applyed to protect the finish.
